The author analyzes the causes and effects of the Belarusian Tent Camp protest movement in 2006. The movement is placed into the historical context of Belarusian social activism of 1990–2006. Its uniqueness is revealed by the application of Melucci’s New Social Movement approach, which is complemented by Deleuzian concepts.
