Lim both referenced and resisted the burgeoning Euro-American discourse on Minimalism and abstraction, as well as the narrow cultural labels used to interpret her life and work. Featuring plates of more than 70 selected works, a curatorial introduction and three illustrated essays, this catalogue provides a fresh overview of Lim’s sculptural philosophy and offers new scholarly insights into her intellectual growth, artistic practice and creative relationships.
